Manic Monday

It's Monday.

I have been super busy trying to get things underway for releases, writing, life etc. Now it's Monday and usually I enjoy them, but today sadly I am super tired and my head hurts. It figures when the nice weather comes I feel like crap. I really need some allergy meds.
I have been reading over Boonville and I just love the humor in the book. I can't wait to release it and see what everyone else thinks.
So to all the readers and writers out there, what is your kind of humor? Is it someone falling, a corny joke? Those memes of grumpy cat? A certain actor or actress?
I love sarcastic humor, gritty, dirty almost mean humor. Sometimes something so stupid and bizarre it makes me laugh. Feel free to share!
And don't forget to enter the giveaway for Ink 3, there are some lovely prizes. Also the Ink bundle!

Thirsty Thursday: Drunk Uncle editon

It's Thursday, the day I do some unedited rants about whatever I like. I hope someone is familiar with the above image. It's drunk uncle and he is great at his drunken rants. So here goes, once a week I will rant, emptying out my mind and soul about whatever I feel like. So enjoy!

Why is writing so easy to sit and daydream about, but when I sit down to actually do it I feel like I'm doing rocket science? How come it all sounds so good in my mind, but when its there on paper I am just confused on what it was I was even trying to say most times?
Names are so hard to come up with, I pick and choose my character's name's like I am naming my real children. Sometimes I just hate my character and no matter what I do I can never be nice to them. That leads to another thing, someone always has to die. If not die in my book someone has to go through hell and back several hundred times.
Why are people so into Vampires? This includes me. I swore I'd never fall for the trend, but its so deliciously evil that I can't take my eyes off of shows like Vampire Diaries and True Blood.
Some days I sit and try to fathom a world where we didn't love the forbidden so much. And than I come to the realization that it would suck.
Why are some books loved so much and some so little? Why do I find myself pining over a really good read like its going out of style? Am I crazy?
Why do I strive to make people cry when I write?
Is it okay to dream about your book characters as if they were real? Because I did that just a few nights ago and it was so strange yet cool.
Is there even a point to my blog? I wonder who I am really reaching all the time. But even if I didn't reach anyone I would still write it, because I am forever that angst riddled teen that loves curling up and bleeding her emotions all over the pages.
Why does sadness make me feel happy when I write? Is it the reality that feels good? Or is it the rebellion that takes over?

That's all of my mindless rants for now. I have my baby sleeping in my lap and a book to write. Oh! Don't forget to enter the giveaway, I love seeing more and more entries and I love giving away free stuff for all you awesome people!

If you have any rants of your own you would like to share I would love to read them! Have a good night!

Hump Day!

  Vs

They both are known by intials, Jt and Jgl.

They both are musical. Great voices.

I love their acting, I will say for sure Jgl is one of my favorite actors of all time, and here's a little fun fact: JGL is my Henri for Perfectly Hopeless

My favorite movie by Justin would have to be In Time, and as for Jgl, I would say Looper or Inception.

Best song that rocks my socks right now by Jt is Mirrors.

And have you seen the New Years clip from Jgl?

Wednesday is hump day, so in honor of the day I picked two of my faves to face off.

So....if you had to choose, who do you think wins this battle?

And don't forget to enter the giveaway for Ink 3!
If you haven't read any of the Ink series this giveaway is for you, you can win them all!

Sunday Funday!

I'm trying my best to keep up with blogging now. So after rolling around in my brain some ideas I came up with a seven day a week schedule to follow. For those of you who care to read I am sure it will be interesting. So here goes...

Sunday is: Sunday Funday, a day to share something fun with all my readers.

I have a disturbing sense of humor, the kind that some people get and other's just don't. My closest friends and family get it and most of them are the same way. I recently watched the movie The Watch and I absolutely loved it. For one Vince Vaughn is one of my favorite actors. There is just something about the way he goes on a rant that makes me nearly pee myself. And than you have Jonah Hill, he is amazing in his own right. The two of them together mixed with Ben Stiller were phenomenal. Anyone who hasn't watched this movie should for sure do so.

When I write my books I feel like each book has that one character in them that is over the top and witty. I think my favorite character was Kenny Carlo for sure. His personality was the funnest to write each and ever time through all six books of Wingless. In the Ink series I have two characters with a wild sense of humor. Nona and Karsen. Nona is more eccentric and strange and that to me is just funny. And Karsen is off the wall and sarcastic. I think they make the series even better.

What movie or book makes you laugh? Who is your favorite comedian/actor?

Have a great Sunday!!

“Witches,” Nona said.  For the hundredth time since the bars of the jail opened and I was allowed to walk free.
“Witches?” Dad asked me. I climbed into the backseat of Claude’s car.
“Is there anything anyone else wants to say besides that word?” I asked.
Nona buckled her seatbelt. “I just don’t understand the accusations.” She was just as confused about the situation.
“I think if my daughter was stabbed last summer I would have known about it,” Dad shook his head.
I rubbed my temples in a slow circular motion. My head ached beyond anything I felt before in my life.
Everyone wanted answers. They also wanted the truth. But the truth was they wouldn’t believe anything I had to say about witches.
I stared out the window at all the picketers surrounding the jailhouse. Everyone was holding a sign that showcased the hatred for witches. Cherry was a full on battleground after Audrey tried to kill Tucker.
Once Tucker escaped and told everyone everything went from bad to worse. There was no escaping before they cuffed us and threw us in jail on ridiculous charges.
I looked at Nona, thankful she was rich and could get me out of jail. I didn’t know the first thing about surviving in such a place.
Claude was the only one being silent as we coasted down the main road back to my house. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I didn’t know what I would say.
“Do you think it’s a good idea to be taking her back to the beach house?” Claude asked. It was one of the first times I seen him say just about anything.
Dad sighed. “I think I can handle things. I will not let anyone lay a finger on my daughter.”
“Look what has happened so far, I don’t think you’ll have much of a choice,” Nona tossed in. She pulled down her visor and dropped her head back.
“Mom this is my daughter. I think I know what’s best for her,” Dad snapped.
I groaned. “You guys, calm down. We haven’t even made it home yet and you’re all freaking out. I’m an adult; I will choose what I want to do.” My fingers grazed my temples again.
But from the looks of my dad and grandmother I knew it was going to be hard to do.....

Enjoy!! Comment the blog to share your thoughts of Ink 3!

Ink bonus scene: Slade meets Hope.

Hey guys! here's a Ink bonus scene from Slade's POV. We all know what Hope thought the first time she met Slade. Well, here is what he thought when he met Hope.

I walked the grounds of Henry Park. My gig was over and I was trying to pass the time, you never could sleep in a park filled with rock music and a bunch of guys who think their badasses.
I wasn't to surprised to see another Cherry resident trying to make her way into Henry Park. They all wanted to live on the edge. Only difference with most they were to afraid to give it a shot. She was different. I could see it.
It was hard to hold back the smirk as I watched her try to survive among the darkside. And pink, come on. Who wore pink to a metal concert?
I slung the bat over my shoulder and watched. I knew in a few more minutes she would be stuck to the bottom of a steel toed boot. I probably wouldn't have cared any other time, but she was hot. Not like any other girl around Cherry.

Something different and I wanted to save her. I wanted her to look into my eyes and thank me for saving her miserable life.
So I started swinging, it didn't take much to get things moving. They all know who I am, nobody puts up much of a fuss when it comes to the Evil Kings of Ink.
I warned myself girls in pink were trouble for me. I was going to end up kicking my own ass for rescuing her I knew it. But she was lucky, for once I was in a good mood. I was willing to be her savior.
