At the moment I do not have a date for when the next Ink will be finished. I try to switch projects so that I don't get burnt out.
Who is your Slade?
I think everyone has their own vision of Slade. And I have heard some pretty great ones from fans of Ink. As for me, my Slade is M Shadows, from Avenged Sevenfold.
What made you start writing?
I have always had a vivid imagination, and from a very early age I was always trying to create these worlds. So it only made sense I suppose that I would become a writer.
How do you handle bad feedback from a reader?
I remind myself that nobody is perfect, and that not everyone is going to like what I have to say. And that just means they are not the type of readers interested in my work. I believe in my writing, otherwise I wouldn't write. I don't take offense, everyone has a right to feel the way they do.
Sometimes as a writer you get some really harsh feedback and you learn very fast to not let it phase you. I thank the ones that enjoy my work and I respect the ones that don't. You have to have a VERY thick skin when it comes to putting yourself out there for the world to see. It's the only way you will survive.
